Hi there all of you beagle lovers! I say beagle lovers because I need to be with my kind of people! I'm looking for people have had beagles or are very familiar with my breed.

Oh, by the way, my name is Toby and I am a svelte 27 lbs. and 8 years young. Now many of you may think I am in my senior years, not so…..once you come to visit me you will see what an energetic, lovable and active guy I really am.

Like my beagle brothers and sisters, I have a very keen sense of smell. I should always be on a leash because if I find an interesting scent, I may just start to roam. So please keep an eye and a leash on me, heh, heh!!! I would love to be in a forever home where my human companion will be at home most of the time as I can get lonely. I want to be your one and only love (animal-wise heh, heh) because I do not like to share my food and I want to have all of your attention and love…is that too much to ask, hmmmmm??? I am looking for a calm and confident leader who will give me consistent training and guidance. I am a very intelligent and social pooch who is very anxious to learn and please!

I am used to being inside except for my walks and will start barking if I am left outside, as is common with my breed, so it would be best if I lived in a house rather than a condo or apartment.

Before you come to see me, please research my breed and if you are already familiar with beagles, so much the better!!! I have my bags packed, and I'm waiting for that calm, confident leader who's willing to give me the guidance I need. Is that you? I hope so!
