Hey people! What’s happening? As far as my news – I managed to get lost and, after being placed in another shelter, I fortunately ended up here. I was hoping that my family would come looking for me but no one has claimed me so I am now looking for a forever home! I am a happy, cheerful and slightly goofy Shar-Pei Labrador mix. I am friendly and get on with everyone. Well, all humans; I don’t know much about cats. They seem quite chase-able so I may not do well living with one! I can get along with some other well-mannered dogs.

I am generally well mannered myself, sit politely, and I walk well on a leash. I am housetrained and I am fine with going for car rides. I love to be with my family doing anything that they want to do!

Being still young, about 1.5 years, I love playing and generally having fun. Fetch-the-ball is a great game. In fact, any game involving a tennis ball is extremely good. Even though I am not particularly big (I weigh 58 lbs), I do need to mention that I am strong. Therefore, I also need someone who realizes that, when I find something interesting way over yonder, I can pull persuasively to go over to see it. Another thing is that I do tend to jump up when I get excited and, just as I am strong when I pull, I can be pretty heavy when I land on my play-partner! I would benefit from some further positive reinforcement obedience classes, where I know I will make you proud of me.
