Hi, my name is Yucca and I am a 2 yr. old Husky mix. I was brought to MaxFund from another shelter. Since I am a new guest at MaxFund, I am a bit shy, but the staff and volunteers are very considerate of my feelings. They know that I am a great dog who will be a loyal companion to just the right person.

The volunteers have been taking daily walks so that I can get used to all of the sights and sounds of the outside world. I am learning good leash manners.

I prefer to live in a calm home environment without cats. Sorry, cats and I just don't get along. And, of course, a meet-and-greet is required with any other dogs in your home. I become anxious when I'm home alone, so I'd love to be in a home where a human can be with me most of the time. It would be great if I could have a canine companion to keep me company, too! I know this may be a tall order, but it is important that you know about me so that we can be right for each other.

Attending training classes is a must for my socialization skills. Will you be willing to attend obedience classes with me and have the patience to help me through my training period?? I want SO MUCH to love and be loved and if you give me a chance, I will be a very loyal companion, after all MaxFund gave me a chance!
