Howdy folks! I'm Roscoe and I am a 3 year old Husky mix. I was transferred to MaxFund from another shelter and I sure am pleased to be here. It was pretty stressful worrying about whether my time was up!

As you can see I am a handsome, athletic fellow. I had a great time running in the snow during my photo shoot! I am a happy-go-lucky, friendly dog who likes everyone - men, women and children. However, I would likely do best in an adult family or one with teenage children.

Don't get me wrong, I like little kids alright but I am strong, and exuberant, so I can unintentionally (but easily) knock over light-weight humans! I don't like those animals called cats very much and, I have to admit it, I like only some dogs. Dogs who try and be boss irritate me. On the other hand, I think some friendly dogs, especially girl-dogs, who are about my size are nice to know - call me a bit of a ladies man!

I am energetic and I just love walks and playtime. I am pretty sure that I would like hikes and other outdoor adventures too! I get pretty excited when I first meet you but give me a bit of time and I settle down just fine.

I know I would benefit from some positive reinforcement training classes. I haven't had much in the way of training but I am a real smart dog who loves being active. Everyone here believes I am housetrained but I may need a refresher course once I get to my new home.

Update: I am now at a terrific day care camp as the resident foster dog. Woo Hoo!
